It's a bird, it's a plane, it's The Virtual Magic Flute!

After three weeks of rehearsals, workshops, training, lessons, and artistic work, Summer Conservatory Virtual Magic Flute had a fabulous debut this week!! Students learned all their music, created costumes and props and made videos that were pieced together into this final project: Magic Flute remixed to reflect the spirit of the super heroes of Gotham. Alongside rehearsals, students participated in movement and language workshops, followed their own music theory programs, and learned Opera History through Meet an Opera. Everyone was so thrilled to finally hear themselves sing together, which has been impossible to experience on the zoom platform.
